Job Description Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will design, specify, implement, commission, and maintain mill-wide electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as provide troubleshooting assistance to operations in maintaining and improving all production-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and proactively enforce safety programs and practices.
Provide electrical leadership to assist in the maximization of all key performance indicators.
Assist with the implementation of multiple projects from conception through completion.
Works with Engineering/Maintenance/Operations teams on process efficiency improvements, cost savings, and technology advancements.
Provide engineering and technical support to mill operations and maintenance.
Develop and execute capital projects to support strategic initiatives, reduce costs, and sustain and improve operations from a safety and environmental standpoint.
Experience & Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent experience.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Web-based systems.)
Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
