West Michigan Lodging owns and operates the new Hilton Homewood Suites, and the Hilton Home2 Suites in Walker, MI. We are currently seeking dependable Housekeepers at both locations. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms,dustingand vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens,towelsand guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock,maintainand transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis. This should be done at the end of your shift, not at the beginning.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests ina timely,friendly and efficient manner
- Perform guest turn down service, as needed
- Implement Hilton’s new “Cleanstay” methods, wiping down and sanitizing all high touch areas (handles, knobs, counter tops, remotes, bedsetc). Follow the guide on mirror clings for all high touch areas in need ofdisinfection.
