Position Overview
Motive Rail, Inc. is expanding its team and currently hiring for the Rail Repair and Maintenance Crew in Escanaba, Michigan. This crew plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of rail infrastructure and equipment.
The company is partnered locally with Billerud, providing full switching support for their operations. While this position is based in Escanaba, Motive Rail also operates in Quinnesec, where additional opportunities may become available in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of rail tracks and related infrastructure
- Assist with the upkeep of tools, equipment, and safety gear
- Work closely with team members to ensure rail operations meet safety and service standards
- Support rail operations as needed, including collaboration with switch crew members
