The Robot Programmer supports the design, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of automated and robotic systems in a production environment. This role applies electrical, electronic, and engineering principles to program, troubleshoot, and integrate robotic equipment according to customer and operational specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, configure, and program industrial robots and automated systems to meet engineering and customer requirements

Develop, modify, and debug robot programs, including interfacing with PLCs, sensors, HMIs, and peripheral equipment

Assist with the installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of robotic and electrical systems on the shop floor

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control system issues to ensure proper operation of automation equipment

Support the integration of robotic systems into manufacturing or production facilities

Perform system testing, diagnostics, and validation to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to improve system performance and efficiency

Provide technical support, documentation, and maintenance assistance after system implementation

Follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings during setup and troubleshooting
