Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will work with the Electrical Firmware Engineer and multiple facets of the organization to deliver an innovative and quality product and support our production and customer service teams. Through team work and self-driven practices, you will be involved in the design and development of hardware solutions supporting various technology updates with the growth and advancement of the Amigo Mobility product lines in mind. Through this experience, you will gain proficiencies in PCB schematic layout and develop a strength in analog circuit design.

Job Duties:
- Design PCB solutions and perform hardware layout and testing
- Generate, update and review wiring diagrams
- Ensure electrical compliance with regulating bodies
- Review and establish electrical testing procedures
- Develop new technology to improve productivity and lower costs
- Work closely with suppliers to understand and improve current electronic components
- Maintain current electrical designs and continue to seek lower cost upgrades
- Diagnose and find solutions for electrical issues
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Well versed in analog circuit design for sensor driven applications
- Ability to design microcontroller based embedded circuits
- Familiar with communication interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART and implementing them in hardware.
- Must be self-starter with drive to learn as well as team player
