Fastemps is hiring on behalf of the University of Michigan for a Pharmacy Technician role in Ann Arbor. This position provides essential support to the pharmacy team by assisting with medication preparation, dispensing, and patient service.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, package, and label medications according to prescriptions

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and usage

Support prescription verification and medication safety procedures

Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and University policies

Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy Technician certification preferred or in progress

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow established procedures

Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
