Job Duties: Nursery-stock workers handle a wide range of plant-production and farm-maintenance tasks throughout the growing cycle. Their responsibilities include recording crop and plant data, inspecting plants for pests, disease, and quality, and performing activities such as harvesting, transplanting, potting, labeling, pruning, spraying, weeding, fertilizing, and watering. They operate tractors and other machinery to prepare soil, plant and cultivate crops, and manage irrigation and climate-control systems, including setup, operation, maintenance, and repair. Workers also move, tie, bunch, and package plants, shrubs, and trees to fill orders, maintain inventory, and occasionally sell or deliver products to customers while offering care advice. General farm upkeep—repairing buildings, fences, equipment, and greenhouse structures—is part of the role as well. The job is physically demanding, requiring extensive walking, repetitive movements, bending, and the ability to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from 20 to 100°F, including rain or snow when conditions are not severe enough to halt work.

Housing: The employer retains possession and control of the housing premises at all times. Workers provided housing under the terms of this Clearance Order shall vacate the housing promptly upon termination of employment with the employer.

Transportation: Employer offers transportation at no cost to workers occupying Employer-provided housing to the worksite and return on a daily basis using any combination of van, truck and car depending on crop conditions and locations. Such transportation will be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
