Persico USA, Inc. is looking for a CNC Apprentice to join our team!

The CNC machinist is responsible for CNC operations, program, setup and update programs written by CAM.

Duties and responsibilities include the below tasks:

Perform setup and run CNC programs on assigned equipment per production schedule.
Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
Read blueprints and prepare next jobs for reducing setup times.
Utilize CNC controls to program manually cutting operations, milling, drilling, taping etc.
Conduct hands on inspection of machined products utilizing precision equipment and tools required for quality control.
Clean and maintain assigned CNC equipment and area.
Complete start up checks and operation of key machine elements such as cooling and lubrication systems.
Perform detailed time-keeping per job and tasks.
Support Preventive Maintenance of CNC machines and equipment.
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Additional Requirements

Minimum education requirements:

Highs school diploma with specialized training in fabrication and/ or machining.

Preferred education:

College diploma in CNC machining and manufacturing.

Experience:

Preferred 5 years previous experience in CNC Machining and manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Additional Skills:

- Experience with 3 or more axis vertical machining centers

- Proficient use of G and M Codes

- Microsoft Office Software experience

- WorkNC CAM software

- Fanuc CNC controllers

- HEIDENHAIN CNC controllers
