Facilities Manager
Facilities Manager oversees employee and visitor safety, building maintenance, repair and upgrades, and comply with environmental, safety and health procedures relating to facility operations in our headquarters. Also responsible for overseeing other Hantz facilities throughout the state.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates building maintenance and repairs
Provides occupants with updates of electrical, water and other service outages and scheduled shutdowns
Oversees building security
Requests special janitorial services
Stays informed of changes to space assignments in their facilities
Develops and implements facility emergency plans
Negotiated landscape/snow removal contracts
Oversee office buildouts and repairs
All other tasks assigned
Education/Knowledge & Skills:
High School Diploma/GED
3 year building maintenance experience
Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair
Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques
Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Skill in reading and following assembly instructions
Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Vice Presidents and Contractors
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
