In accordance with
established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs
computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance
of a radiologist.
Responsibilities:
Technicalknowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
Demonstratesproficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiologyinformation system.
Accuratelyinterprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription.
Usesindependent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CTimages.
Educatespatient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.
Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology
Program with ARRT Certification.
- Certification in CT is highly preferred.
Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.
- Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably with
Philips experience.
