The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Machine Maintenance Technician will perform scheduled preventive maintenance task and repairs on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. This position is for afternoons 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
Additionally, the Machine Maintenance Technician will:
- Service the filtration and lube systems of shop air compressor systems.
- Pump and properly dispose of waste oils and coolants in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- May assist with light and medium rigging, equipment leveling, air plumbing and connections to infrastructure services when needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date Excel spreadsheet tracking onsite fluid inventory and coordinating with vendors to reorder supplies as needed.
- Support more experienced maintenance staff with tasks such as disassembling, relocating, and reassembling equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required

- Relevant certifications or technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
- 1 year of experience working with basic Machine Maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated interest in understanding how mechanical and electrical systems work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Effectively communicates with team members, engineers, cell specialist, and all levels of management.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends to address unexpected maintenance issues.
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
