As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-quality automotive components.
Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to determine production operations, machining sequences, and finished workpiece dimensions
- Assemble and position cutting tools with precision using hand tools
- Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions, ensuring parts meet specifications
- Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and various gauges
- Conduct minor tool changes between part families to optimize machine performance
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces to meet quality standards
- Sort non-conforming or deviant parts as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in machine operations, troubleshooting, and use of gauging and measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of safe work environment practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
