Cashiers are responsible for maintain excellent customer service, cash register operations, sales floor
functions, and safeguarding company asset in an accurate and efficient manner. Assist supervisory staff
in store operation by perform assigned advanced tasks and provides leadership to assigned personnel.
Essential Functions:
• Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging, assisting and thanking customers.
• Perform register task including verifying funds, accurately counting down register, maintaining
cleanliness and stocking register area.
• Accurately perform all register operations in compliance with policy
• Collect payments, make change and provide receipts
• Maintain store appearance to company standards including register, sales floor, and parking lot
• Follow proper phone etiquette and use paging system
• Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned
Non Essential Functions:
• Participate in company functions and meetings, visiting with customers
• Make sure the register is clean, dusted, and organized
• Perform other duties assigned
