Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to oversee daily custodial operations for the organization. Schedules and works with subordinate staff to ensure work is completed in a timely and safe manner. Conducts performance reviews, grievance procedures, and necessary disciplinary actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the work of assigned personnel including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Sets daily priorities for custodial employees; verifies work is completed in compliance with departmental standards.
Tracks and submits orders for supplies and repair requests for equipment.
Participates in meetings with departmental management; provides recommendations and makes requests.
Performs related work as required.

Additional Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

6 months + training beyond High School
3 to 5 years of related work experience in custodial operations
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
