Position Title: Cook
Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Position Summary
The Cook is responsible for preparing meals. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to the customer
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
- Maintain safe operation of kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with prep work such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and labeling ingredients
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen assistant preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and food safety practices.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
