The Birmingham Country Club located in Birmingham, MI has opening for 8 full time temporary Landscape Maintenance workers, $19.93/hr to $20.25/hr ($29.90/hr to $30.38/hr O.T.) from 4/1/2026 to 11/08/2026. Duties include: Duties include landscape and/or maintain grounds of the Club using hand or power tools or equipment, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking; maintaining grounds, turf, flowers, shrubs and trees, mowing and general grounds clean up, clean ponds and water features; Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage; Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds; Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes; Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools; Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers; Rake, mulch, and compost leaves; Decorate gardens with stones or plants; Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters.
No exp. req. Stand, walk and ability to lift 50 lbs. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off. When scheduled, the days and hours are as follows. M-F: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm; S&S 6:00 am to 10:00 am approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime. The business is open 7 days a week. Weekend work will be required. The work location is 1750 Saxon Drive; Birmingham, MI.

Workers are paid weekly. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. Raises and bonuses available based on performance or length of service with the employer. End of season bonus available. Workers can receive a free lunch during their shifts on Mondays through Fridays. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
Work tools, supplies and equipment will be provided without charge or deposit.
If required by prevailing law the employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees) incurred by the worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
The employer does not provide housing or board during the term of employment. The employer does not provide transportation to and from work location during the term of employment.
