Journeyman Electrician - Midland, MI
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team to assist with commercial and industrial service calls. This individual will be responsible for communicating with customers, working independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical components such as transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
Install electrical systems such as switch gears, motor control centers, electrical panels, fire alarms, conveyor, lighting, and power systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
Direct or train workers to install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
Coordinate work with the Account or Project Manager, including tasks, materials, manpower, and equipment requirements.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
State of Michigan Journeyman Electricians License.
5+ years of experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
Ability to troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
Current and valid driver's license with own transportation to job sites.
Experience with high voltage electrical systems and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Work Environment
Work is conducted on new build sites and servicing industrial and commercial sites across locations in Midland, Bay City, Saginaw, Flint, Lansing, Clare, Hemlock, and Beaverton. Standard hours are 1st shift, typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with expected work hours ranging from 40-50 per week. Different shift configurations may include five 8-hour shifts, some Saturday work, or four 10-hour shifts

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bay City, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
