Job Details

Facilitate and execute services for child/teen victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Plan, coordinate and supervise weekly children's support groups.  Plan and conduct parenting work groups. Provide information, referrals and crisis counseling for child and parent.  Network with children's community agencies.  Document services as required.  Accompany victims to court proceedings when children are involved.  Accompany parent and child to community appointments involving the child to ensure an adequate system response from service providers. Provide childcare in coordination with adult services. Provide training to community agencies and other service providers serving children.  Participate as a member of the on-call rotation team.  Maintain confidential files and keep confidentiality of victims.  Attend Caring House meetings.  Attend trainings, workshops, presentations and conferences to ensure continued professional development.  Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to grant funders and the Executive Director. Adhere to and ensure that Caring House policies and procedures are carried out.  Adjust schedule to accommodate agency & client needs.  Perform related duties as assigned.
