ZLM Services LLC is seeking to fill six (6) temporary, full-time peakload positions Landscaping Laborers for April 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026. Worksite: 9422 Marine City Highway, Casco, MI 48064 and multiple sites in Macomb, St. Clair, Oakland, and Wayne counties in MI.
Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, pruning, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. May drive crew vehicle. A driver’s license is not required. If a worker has a non-commercial driver’s license, they may drive a crew vehicle to worksites as needed.
Requirements: No education or experience required.
Special Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. OT, Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer paid post-hire random, post-accident, and upon suspicion of use drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers.
Terms and conditions of employment: $19.93/hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $29.90 per hour. Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-5:00PM. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Daily travel to/from worksite to client properties throughout Macomb, St. Clair, Oakland, and Wayne counties. Employees will be transported to the properties from the worksite free of charge and returned to the work site at the end of the work day.
The employer (ER) will make all deductions from employee's (EE) paycheck required by law and no others without EE consent. ER does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: if needed, ER will assist in arranging optional EE-paid lodging for hired foreign and non-local U.S. EE. ER will deduct for the reasonable fair market value cost of rent and utilities based on number of occupants for EE who voluntarily elect to live in ER-offered housing. Voluntary advances and/or loans made to EE, if any, may be repaid by pre-authorized payroll deductions. ER provides first set of uniforms at no cost to EE. Additional uniforms are available for purchase by the EE. Such purchases are optional and for the EE’s benefit. No daily transportation to/from EE's home and primary worksite. EEs accrue 1 hr pd sick leave per 30 hrs worked, max 72 hrs/yr per MI Earned Sick Time Act.
The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
