Antonelli Maintenance LLC dba Antonelli Landscape is seeking to fill six (6) temporary, full-time peakload Landscaping Laborers positions for April 1, 2026 to December 1, 2026. Worksite: 16171 31 Mile Rd, Ray Township, MI 48096 and multiple sites in Macomb and Oakland counties in MI.
Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, lawn aerating, raking, sprinkler system installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Blowing and clearing walkways and driveways. Spring/Fall cleanups, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, weeding, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and pruning plants from the ground level using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, hand shears, wheelbarrows, and pitch forks. May drive crew vehicle. No driver’s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver’s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites, as needed.
Requirements: No education or experience required.
Special Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. Drug testing may be required of foreign and domestic workers post-hire post-accident at no cost to workers.
Terms and conditions of employment: $19.93/hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $29.90 per hour. Mon-Fri,: 7:30AM-5:00PM. Saturday/Sunday required as necessary. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Workers will begin each day at the worksite address. They will then be transported, free of charge, to properties located throughout the area of intended employment to provide the services in the job description They will then be transported back to the worksite address at the end of each work day.
The employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and no others without worker consent. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: If needed, employer will assist in arranging optional worker-paid lodging for hired foreign and non-local U.S. workers. Employer will deduct for the reasonable fair market value cost of rent and utilities based on number of occupants for workers who voluntarily elect to live in employer-offered housing. Housing-related expenses may also paid directly to facility owner/operator and not payroll deducted, if elected. Optional shared company vehicle for commuting may be provided, but not guaranteed, for relocating workers only. Employer to provide five company shirts and one hat free of charge. Option to purchase additional uniform clothing which can be deducted from payroll. Employees accrue 1 hour paid sick leave per 30 hours worked, max 40 hours/year per Michigan Earned Sick Time Act.
The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
