Tasks include landscaping or maintaining properties using hand/power tools/equipment, including chain saw, pruner saw, pole saw, shovel, and rake; sod laying; mowing; blowing; trimming; planting; watering; fertilizing; digging; raking; sprinkler install; and install mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. 40 hours of work, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, 30 minutes for lunch and with overtime available. Work will be performed at multiple worksites in Wayne, Oakland, St. Clair, and Macomb Counties. No less than $19.93/hr, overtime no less than $29.90/hr. Employer will use single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Employer provides incidental transportation between work sites as necessary. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. If worker completes 50% of work contract period, employer will reimburse worker for transportation and subsistence from place of recruitment to place of work. Upon completion of work contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home to place worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. Amount of transportation payment/reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68.00/day with receipts. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to/from designated pick-up location at company location. Employer will then provide daily transportation among worksite locations in counties listed above. Workers will be reimbursed in first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by government except passport fees. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. On-the-job training provided. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 3/4s of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees.
