Industrial Market Manager (Remote)

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a remote Industrial Market Manager for a direct-hire opportunity supporting operations based in Saginaw, Michigan.
The ideal candidate is motivated by making a measurable impact for customers in the global water and wastewater communities. This role focuses on industrial markets including Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Power, Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 45–55 hours per week (occasional weekends based on travel)
Salary: $86,000 – $93,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
Managing an Independent Sales Representative Network

Serve as liaison and motivator for the independent sales representative network

Build strong, long-term partnerships with representatives across assigned territories

Ensure territories are supported by well-trained (A-line) representatives

Coordinate coverage using multiple agencies where required

Set and manage territory sales goals in partnership with representatives

Support sales efforts through attendance at regional shows, engineering firms, industrial sites, and mobile showroom visits

Manage an assigned book of business and provide feedback to internal departments
Travel and Presentations

Travel up to 75% of the time

Present solutions tailored to consultants, contractors, and site owners

Act as the voice of the customer, relaying field feedback and improvement opportunities to internal teams

Identify and report field issues while traveling
-
Coordinate travel with corporate meeting schedules

Attend required in-office meetings in Saginaw 4–8 times per year, including National Sales Meeting, Rep Council, Quarterly Sales & Marketing meetings, and Corporate Training
Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain and update CRM records (currently ACT!) related to pending jobs and industrial accounts

Submit monthly expense reports via online reporting system

Schedule conference calls and coordinate with internal teams

Support timely and accurate execution of budget proposals and bids

Requirements
Education:
Required Experience:

Sales experience within industrial water and wastewater market segments

Experience presenting to consultants, contractors, and site owner stakeholders

Experience managing territory forecasts and budgets
Preferred Experience:

International sales experience

Construction background with knowledge of hydraulics, chemistry, metallurgy, and industrial controls

Small business experience due to the multitasking nature of the role
Skills:

Strongly preferred: Bilingual or fluent in Spanish
