The Fleet & Software Coordinator I will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of vehicle software packages to the test fleet, confirming and validating successful updates, and thoroughly documenting work performed. The role will be responsible for the overall status of all vehicles in their care.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and deploy the correct software packages, either through direct vehicle connection or remote software updates
- Troubleshoot issues that occur during the software and hardware updates
- Support test cases and test scripts that are requested by the customer, including test drives when needed
- Coordinate the software deployments and document in required systems
- Perform light hardware updates when required. Typically, single part or electronic control module
- Confirm proper module reporting from installed measurement equipment
- Coordinate the fleet vehicles overall status and documentation and use customer tools and systems to track, report, and monitor vehicle status
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in vehicle testing and software deployment/flashing
- Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have valid driver license and meet motor vehicle record (MVR) requirements
- Must be a self-starter and willing to learn
- Must be able to read, comprehend & execute written procedures
- Accurately and clearly complete written communication
Preferred Skills:
- Fleet management experience
- Experience with vehicle CAN (Controller Area Network) systems and communications
- Experience working on vehicles
