Job Title: 3rd Molding - PC
Job Description
The role involves assembling door handles, both inside and out, as well as liftgate handles. The parts are plastic and lightweight, though the workload can increase with quantity. Employees work 8-10 hour shifts, rotating through assembly cells that consist of 8 areas, ensuring no more than two hours are spent in one spot unless required otherwise. The tasks include placing parts in the correct fixture and order, starting at easier stations and progressing around the cells.
Responsibilities
Assemble various small hardware pieces and plastic parts into fixtures.
Set up machines for part assembly.
Perform packing, inspection, and labeling tasks.
Ensure a certain number of parts are assembled per hour, maintaining speed.
Rotate every 2 hours to a different station.
Pack raw plastic parts into totes, sort, inspect, assemble, and trim excess plastic from molded parts.
Hang parts before paint application and inspect them after they are painted and dry for defects.
Essential Skills
General labor experience.
Proficiency in assembly and labeling.
Ability to pack and assemble parts efficiently.
Capability to stand for 10 hours straight.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.25/hr.
