General Definition of Work
Performs semiskilled work preparing and serving meals, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of assigned personnel.
Essential Functions
• Prepares, cooks, assembles, and serves meals and snacks according to U.S.D.A. standards.
• Cleans kitchen and storeroom, always maintains a sanitary working environment.
• Inspects, receives, and stores inventory. Ensures rotation of stock and completion of paperwork.
• Maintains production records, milk records, and other paperwork.
• Trains new staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED with coursework in home economics, food preparation, or similar subjects.
