Six housekeepers needed in Gaylord MI at Loon Lake Club as a seasonal operation, we seek to hire dedicated housekeepers. Duties include Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and managers. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with head housekeeper. Assist with deep cleaning projects such as washing the floors, wiping down beds and furniture with rags and cleaning products and/or assist with housekeeping staff. Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction. Inspect all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest room supplies, equipment, linens and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Maintain cleaning product inventory and linens. Ensure that all equipment is in working order: such as vacuums, carts, etc. Must be able to push up to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for several hour sand be able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl & knell
The salary range for this position is $16.00 per hour. The overtime rate is 1.5 times the base rate is $24.00 per hour. This position required 40 hours per week. Work is usually done Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Weekend shifts may be available depending on the needs of the business. Overtime hours may vary depending on the needs of the business. These are seasonal and temporary full-time positions from April 1, 2026 through November 1, 2026) On-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment will be provided. Overtime is available for each hour worked above 40 per week at one and a half times the hourly baserate. Wages are paid biweekly on Fridays by check. A single workweek is used as the standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law. The employer may make deductions at the voluntary and written request of the employee. Two meals a day given to employees. No other deductions will be made. Loon Lake Club will reimburse all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees (including those mandated by the government) for H-2B workers within the first week of employment.Loon Lake Club will provide customary and reasonably necessary tools or supplies for the performance of these duties to candidates without charge or deposit. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place where the worker has come to work for Loon Lake Club The amount of reimbursable daily subsistence expenses during travel will be at least $16.28 and a maximum of $68 per day if documented with actual receipts. Loon Lake Club will pay for the worker's cost of return transportation home and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place the worker departed to work for Loon Lake Club if the worker completes the required period of employment or is dismissed by Loon Lake Club from employment before the end of the period for any reason. Loon Lake Club makes the three-fourth guarantee by offering employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
