Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join our team
The ideal candidate will work alongside two other technicians to ensure the plant and machinery are operational
This role involves a mix of proactive preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks
Job Responsibilities
Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMs) and update the system accordingly
Prioritize and address machine breakdowns promptly
Collaborate with other technicians to repair machines and maintain production efficiency
Handle simple to complex repairs to ensure machinery functionality
Work with pumps, motors, conveyors, blueprints, and overall mechanical and electrical maintenance/troubleshooting
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing/production equipment
Experience with pumps, conveyors, gears, motors, welding, plumbing/piping, and preventive maintenance
1+ year of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing/production equipment
Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot relay/PLC systems
Electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with wires, relays, sensors, and voltages up to 480V
Basic computer skills for reporting maintenance tasks

This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $35.00/hr.
