As a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the core platform services organization at Stellantis, the candidate will be responsible for driving the teams those develop platform services needed for application running on the target platforms for various domains like automated driving features, In-vehicle Infotainment, and next generation vehicle architectures. The primary duties will include guiding the team, participating in technical discussions and helping create requirements and architecture for the platform services by following the SOA principles. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern safety critical electronic control units embedded software development and possess an interest in state-of-the-art compute platforms and emerging computational technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
Minimum 8 years of experience in developing embedded software preferably in middleware with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Proficient in software development using C/C++, Java or Python
Proficient in software development in QNX and Linux environments.
Able to translate signal-based design into service-oriented design
Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN and Ethernet, SOME/IP
Knowledge of tools such as: Github, Davinci Adaptive, build systems like C-make or Bazel build and Conon
Experience developing software in AUTOSAR classic or adaptive environments
