Job Purpose and Overview
The Associate Marketing Manager, Market Accounts, will tactically execute plans delivering against shared P&L goals for market accounts in the US and Canada through activating marketing initiatives, supporting customer needs, and achieving Opex Budget Management.
Tactically execute against North America (U.S and Canada) value propositions based on understanding customer needs and insights of market accounts to deliver growth for Dawn's ingredient business.
Support communication of trends, insights, and marketing capabilities directly to customers tied to their business objectives and provide solutions that grow their business and help reach Dawn's financial goals.
Work Environment & Travel: This is a remote position that requires up to 25% travel.
What will you do as anAssociate Marketing Manager at Dawn Foods?
Business Strategy & Planning:Support the North America long-term strategy; deploy marketing initiatives across all regions of North America. Understand the consumer, our customers, channels, product categories, competitors, and the economic and marketing environment regarding its impact on overall business plans. Support work to analyze market account business and update strategies/annual plans.
Market Account Business Development:Execute market account activations and innovation launches. Work with local markets to develop sales forecasts, targets for innovation, with responsibility for ensuring pricing and inventory is established at all DCs in the US. Execute sampling plans through local market accounts, plans to drive sales enablement and training of marketing initiatives, and initiatives against Hispanic customer growth plans.
Internal & External Customer Relationships: Acts as marketing support for local DCs, including local shows/events, and as the voice of customers, representing our artisanal customers in all marketing initiatives.

What Does It Take to be an Associate Marketing Managerat Dawn Foods?
A High School Diploma or GED is required
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Communications, Psychology, or other related fields with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing; marketing experience with a food manufacturer, and/or with B2B (and B2B2C) with manufacturing customers is preferred
Will accept 7 years of professional experience in marketing in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Multi-channel experience and skills - Strategy, Plans, Promotions, Incentive Programs, etc.
Demonstrative ability and strong grasp of targeting, segmentation, and brand strategy to contribute to and deploy initiatives successfully across North America
Strength in creating promotional/activation programs to strengthen the Dawn brand, drive revenue growth, and engender loyalty with new and prospective customers
The ability to drive business performance with demonstrated experience in P&L management and ownership to drive revenue and profit growth
Strong relationship-building skills to partner with and influence leaders, external partners, customers, and work in a matrixed environment; can quickly and effectively shift approach and tactics based on audience
Creative problem-solving and collaboration skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-changing environments quickly and effectively
The ability to translate consumer, customer, market, and competitive insights into meaningful business opportunities; excellent communication skills & storytelling, both verbal and written
Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to build a business and drive change
Food industry experiences desired but not required
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Exposure and/or experience with design platforms (i.e., Canva) is a plus
Bilingual, Spanish-speaking capabilities are a plus
