Corporate Quality Director
TheCorporate Quality Directordirects and improves the quality assurance program and ensures quality problems are identified and resolved within all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the business units.
Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.
Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
Supervising technical staff in carrying out corporate quality functions
Writing technical and management systems reports.
Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
Empowered to stop the process or production or service provision, if quality, including safety requirements, are not met.
Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
Functions as management representative for ISO 9000 and AS9100 or delegates responsibility
Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and comparing them with customer requirements.
Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications.
Preparing clear internal and external explanatory documents when necessary.
Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
Participate in developing and improving our product, process, equipment, and methods.
Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
Support compliance with government standards and legislation.
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Five to sevenyears progressively more responsible experience
A professional level of knowledge in a specialized field equivalent to that ordinarily acquired by completing a four-year baccalaureate program.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
