Develop weekly lesson plans including sensory, stories/music, art, science, math, and motor activities.

Oversee caregivers and ensure the best interests of all children are being met.

Follow the Bay City Public Schools Early Childhood Centers Employee Handbook.

Follow all Licensing Rules for Child Care Centers.

Maintain knowledge of the BCPS Early Childhood Centers Program Guide and Health Policies.

Maintain current Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

Follow OSHA blood-borne pathogen procedures, including diapering standards.

Participate in mandatory continuing-education meetings.

Know and routinely practice all emergency procedures.

Provide primary caregiving for three children, including feeding, sleeping, diapering, and milestone support.

Encourage brain development through touch, sound, sensory exploration, and movement.

Recognize and support each child's unique developmental needs.

Maintain awareness of all children in the classroom at all times.

Educate staff on weekly lesson plans and developmental activities.

Assist with keeping the room clean and orderly.

Record feedings, diapering, medication, and sleep for children under age 1.

Place mouthed toys in dirty-toy bins.
-
Ensure safe sleep: infants placed on their backs in cribs only.

Clean high chairs with the three-step method after meals; sweep floors; deep-clean weekly.

Rotate play areas throughout the day (floor play, stroller walks, rocking, tummy time, etc.).

Enjoy working with children.
Supervise children and personnel assigned to the Infant Room under the guidance of the Center Administrator.
