We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to serve as Bell Ringers for our annual Christmas fundraising campaign. This vital role helps raise funds that directly support local families in need during the Christmas season and throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the Public: Greet passersby in a friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to encourage donations.
- Ring Bell: Ring a small hand bell to attract attention to the donation kettle, while being mindful of surrounding businesses and noise levels.
- Maintain Kettle Location: Ensure the donation kettle is never left unattended and the area is kept tidy and free of clutter.
- Provide Information: Be prepared to briefly share information about the charitable cause and how donations support the local community.
- Adhere to Standards: Follow all organizational guidelines and safety protocols, including dress code and conduct policies (no eating, texting, reading, or smoking while on duty).
- Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time for all assigned shifts and accurately complete timecards.
