Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile Business Analyst / Data Analyst to support a major modernization initiative in the Health & Safety space. This project involves replacing 25 legacy applications with two new, integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of business analysis and data analysis skills, with the ability to work across multiple functions and make sense of complex data environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and map data from legacy systems to new platforms.
- Develop high-level process flows using tools such as Visio or Miro.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and product managers to align on roadmaps and deliverables.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure quality standards are met.
- Support work assignment tracking and maintenance in Jira (expert-level knowledge not required).
- Some Information Architecture experience in general- will be working with designers
- Partner with DevOps teams for long-term integration and deployment strategies.
- Document requirements and ensure seamless integration between MongoDB and Oracle systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of combined experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis.
- Proven ability to handle end-to-end responsibilities: requirements gathering, data mapping, process documentation, and testing.
- Strong understanding of data structures and integration concepts.
- Proficiency in creating process flows and documentation tools (Visio, Miro).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MongoDB (highly preferred) and integration with Oracle.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Exposure to modernization or large-scale system replacement projects.
