Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sewer to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality parts that meet both customer and Forvia standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Attend daily shift meetings and align with production goals.
Ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
Operate industrial sewing machines at a minimum of 90% efficiency.
Inspect stitching to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify and report machine issues promptly.
Uphold health and safety standards, including stopping production for HSE risks.
Support ISO 14001/45001 Environmental and Safety commitments.
Maintain equipment in excellent working condition.
Work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous industrial sewing experience (preferred).
Experience in production within the automotive industry.
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Self-motivated, task-oriented, and a strong team player.
Effective communication skills and proficiency in English.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $18.40 per hour
