Job Summary
The Senior Director of Technology is a key executive role responsible for leading the strategic vision of ThyssenKrupp Materials NA. enterprise architecture and IT governance with operational management responsibility over IT systems integration and data analytics. This role ensures that enterprise architecture frameworks and governance standards are rigorously defined and implemented to create a cohesive, secure, and scalable technology environment across global and regional domains.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Lead the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise architecture framework as the foundation of IT governance, aligning technology standards, policies, and practices globally and regionally.
Establish and chair architecture governance bodies such as review boards, compliance committees, and working groups to enforce architectural integrity and risk mitigation.
Oversee systems integration strategies to enable seamless interoperability among diverse business applications and platforms.
Direct data analytics capabilities to empower data-driven decision making with actionable insights and business intelligence.
Collaborate closely with business and IT leadership to embed governance and architecture principles in technology planning, investment, and execution.
Champion digital transformation initiatives, ensuring governance structures support innovation while managing operational and compliance risks.
Manage vendor and technology partnerships related to integration platforms, analytics, and enterprise architecture tools.
Provide executive leadership, mentoring, and development for a high-performing technology management team across architectural, analytical, and integration disciplines.
Monitor technology trends, emerging standards, and best practices to continuously enhance governance frameworks, architectural approaches, and cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of senior leadership experience in technology management encompassing enterprise architecture, IT governance, systems integration, data analytics, and cloud security
Proven expertise in defining and managing enterprise architecture and IT governance frameworks at global and regional scales.
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF), IT governance models.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, influence, and collaborate across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and IT governance models.
Expertise in systems integration technologies, data analytics platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with digital transformation methodologies and technology innovation practices.
Awareness of regulatory and industry standards affecting IT governance and data protection.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and performance/scalability principles.
