Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs and develop individualized plans of care with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians
- Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge, and aftercare planning
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in individual and group settings
- Document, report, and verify patient information according to policies and procedures
- Monitor and report risks to patient safety and prevent adverse outcomes
- Foster a customer-focused, collaborative, and professional work environment
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care across diverse populations
- Serve as a clinical leader by delegating assignments and supporting staff development
- Utilize and review patient care protocols and provide input for process improvement
- Assist in training staff and supporting medication and physical health activities
- May assist with scheduling, staffing, and pre-authorizations

Education & Experience
- Licensed RN in the State of Michigan (BSN preferred)
- Knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory from an accredited nursing program preferred
- Previous clinical experience preferred
Schedule
- May include weekends and holidays
