Night Shift CNC Production Manager
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $24/hr – Higher (Depends on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Night Shift CNC Production Manager to lead operations in our CNC machine shop. This role is responsible for supervising the night shift team, maintaining production flow, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. We serve a variety of industries—including aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial manufacturing—so a strong understanding of precision machining is essential.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC experience, familiarity with industry-specific requirements (especially aerospace), and a proven background in a leadership or supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and support CNC operators and machinists on the night shift.

Oversee daily production to meet quality, quantity, and delivery goals.

Assist with setups, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure proper machine operation.

Maintain quality control standards across all industries served, including aerospace.

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with shop policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift.

Communicate with day shift management and document shift performance and issues.

Ensure proper use of tooling, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
Requirements:

CNC machining experience is required (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines).

Experience working with aerospace components is required, along with exposure to other manufacturing industries.

Leadership or supervisory experience is a must – must have managed or led a team in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).

Knowledge of tight tolerances, quality inspection procedures, and production documentation.

Ability to work independently and make decisions on the floor.
