Responsibilities:
Previous automotive coating application experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions accurately
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to train and operate forklift
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a research and development setting. Ecoat production. Job duties include:
Setting up and operating equipment to run and support Electrocoat coating process
Reduces, loads and cleans out samples for lab equipment
Coordinates process sequencing, parts and panel handling
Collects and provides data - enters process and product data into tracking system and worksheets
Supports operational excellence and production systems uptime
Works with supervisors, engineers, EH&S, technical and product management to ensure equipment & products introduced are thoroughly vetted, validated and the process mapped from a facility, EH&S, and application perspective
Follows and is knowledgeable of all EH&S guidelines and identifies areas for EH&S improvement
