(This Job Order is for an ALC-H2B process) S&K Building Services, Inc. dba S&K Building Services-Michigan dba Award Window Cleaning, 800 Lafayette NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503, 859-371-4210. 5 Window Cleaners. TEMPORARY-Full Time employment. Will be responsible for cleaning the windows and glass surfaces of residential and commercial buildings. They will use glass-cleaning solutions, squeegee blades, cloths and water to remove grime, and operate lift equipment to access hard-to-reach windows using harness equipment for safety. No education required, no experience is required. Employer will provide on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. Employer will offer 40hrs/week; Mon-Fri; 8AM–4PM depending on weather conditions. Workers are needed to begin work from 4/1/26 to 11/30/26. Multiple Job-Sites in Kent, Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Muskegon, Newaygo & Ottawa Counties, MI. Workers will be paid no less than $17.87/hr, returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid at $20.00/hr. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions, and will be paid at $26.81/hr and up to $30.00/hr.
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
Workers will be paid weekly by check.
The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law.
In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
If the worker completes 50% of the period of employment, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract where or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
Employer will provide daily transportation to/from worksite locations to/from a central pick-up location.
Employer will reimburse in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.
Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
