Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, installation of landscaping drains, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Work in rain, snow, extreme heat and/or extreme cold may be required.40 hours per week. 8-hour workday. 7am - 3pm, Mon - Fri. Some Saturdays and Sundays may be required. Weather may impact exact working hours. OT hours needed and vary from 10-30 hours per week. No minimum education required. 3 months of experience is required.Worker may be required to take a random drug test, post-hire, at no cost to worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination of employment. Must be physically able to perform job. Must be available for the entire season, able, willing, and qualified to perform the work. Employer will provide daily transportation from 374 Oliver Dr, Troy, MI 48084 to sites in the following counties: Clare, Gladwin, Midland, Missaukee, Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, Genesee, Lapeer, St Clair, Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, Livingston, Ingham, Jackson, Washtenaw, Monroe, Barry, Eaton, Kalamazoo, and Calhoun. Wage: $19.93/hour. OT Wage: $29.90/hour. Workers paid biweekly. Optional housing available at $378/month, to be deducted from pay if elected. Rental houses to be maintained by renters including lawn mowing, weeding, cleaning of house, disposal of trash/garbage created by renters.

On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers’ reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
