2nd Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 12:00am Weekend work may be required. Job Summary: This role is responsible for ensuring procedures and SSOPs are followed to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment using the established procedures. * Completes required reporting to reflect activity completed during the shift. * Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered and raises any challenges that are occurring during the shift. * Operate COP and CIP systems * Ensures the correct chemical concentrations are being used Qualifications: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; at least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred. * Supervisory skills are desired. * Must have some Microsoft Office skills. * Familiarity with COP and CIP systems. * Familiarity with refractometers a plus * Familiarity and understanding of testing for chemical concentrations. * Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English; Spanish is a plus. * Ability to work in a noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility environment * Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
