Job Title: Field Technician – Dock & Door Services

Location: Midland, MI (No Remote)

Job Type: Temp to Hire | Full-Time

Salary: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking Field Technicians to perform service, maintenance, and installation of dock equipment, overhead doors, and fire doors. Candidates with 2+ years of experience are preferred, but all applicants will be considered.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have a strong set of tools

• Hold a valid driver’s license

• Be able to pass a drug screen

• Accurately complete daily paperwork and timecards

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and install loading dock equipment and overhead doors

• Troubleshoot and repair:

  • Hydraulics

  • Motors

  • Overhead doors

  • Levelers

  • Vehicle restraints

• Electrical work such as:

  • Reading voltages

  • Diagnosing components

  • Tracing wires (electrical experience is a plus)

• Welding experience is a plus

• Travel to customer sites to:

  • Diagnose problems

  • Communicate repairs verbally and in writing

  • Obtain approval and complete repairs
