Job Summary:
The IT Finance Specialist is responsible for the daily administration of the information technology software portfolio, including request fulfillment, budgeting and cost analysis, vendor contract maintenance and record keeping, documentation and invoice coding. The IT Finance Specialist is also tasked with the processing of software contract renewals, monitoring compliance of software entitlements, and coordination of vendor communication via email and traditional mail. This role is also responsible for populating, updating and maintaining the software asset management system, as well as other licensing documentation projects. The IT Finance Specialist assists the Software Operations team with various other tasks required in the daily operation of the department.
Job Duties:
Monitors the Software Operations and Licensing ticket queues and completes tasks and requests within established SLAs
Analyzes, reviews, scans, codes and routes documents according to departmental procedures for purchase requests, invoice payment, and/or software related contract and terms documentation
Reviews and routes emails from the Licensing mailbox to the correct subject matter resource, accounts payable team or other National IT team
Responsible for fulfilling assigned tasks related to budget forecasting, budget variance analysis, vendor contract review, and invoice coding
Performs research for new or existing software products or systems to obtain contract terms, support and service level agreements or other contact conditions to aid in vendor evaluation or issue resolution
Maintains documentation and record keeping of software asset entitlements, key codes, and contract records in the Software Asset Management system
Gathers and analyzes usage data for products to support decision making for software asset optimization
Collaborates with Finance team on invoice coding to correctly allocate costs according to firm and department guidelines
Collaborates with IT and Finance to submit e-procurement requests for renewals or purchases to maintain compliance with existing entitlements or at the conclusion of vendor negotiation and review process

Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, preferred
Experience:
One (1) years of experience in maintaining an asset management system, preferred
One (1) years of procurement experience such as processing purchase requisitions and managing vendor relationships, required
Experience with general accounting principles, preferred
Experience with software asset management, preferred
Technical support or customer service industry experience, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $70,000 - $75,000
Maryland Range: $70,000 - $75,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $70,000 - $75,000
