Brake Press Operator:
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our laser team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC or manual brake press machines, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC or manual brake press machines to bend, shape, or form aluminum sheets and parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
- Measure completed parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain part tolerances within 1 degree.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating a brake press, preferably in a metal or aluminum fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measuring instruments.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
