Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform
The AI Platform team has been established to create, operate, and run the Enterprise AI Platform andaims to foster a culture ofinnovation, enablesrapid developmentofAI solutions, and drive transformative outcomes to stakeholders. Towards this vision, it currently serves as a comprehensive ecosystem ofcollaborative services,tools, and infrastructureempowering bothtechnicalandnon-technicalusers to seamlessly develop, evaluate, deploy, andmonitorAI solutions tailored to various business use cases and personas. Through prioritizingtransparency,reusabilityof prompts, models and workflows, andswift integrationof emerging AI frameworks like Generative AI, the AI Platform strives to redefine the landscape of AI solutions whether for experimentation or for a production environment.
The Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform will facilitate the build and operation of the centralized AI platform for AI/ML development and deployment across Thomson Reuters business operations. The Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform is expected to be an expert in AI tooling and setting up and streamlining AI workflows and building applications to enable AI/ML workflow development, testing and deployment
About the Role
In this opportunity you will:
Build and Maintain software that tracks the full lifecycle of ML from ideation to post deployment monitoring
Assist in the deployment of machine learning models into production and support these models throughout their lifecycle, including GenAI models
Build out features that help data scientists and AI novices to iterate and re-train models at speed and ease.
Enable self-service tooling for teams to create and maintain models
Utilize a variety of software and tools both commercial and open source *
Continuously challenge and evolve the existing platform capabilities and keep up to date with new offerings
About You
You're a fit for the role ofSenior Software Engineer, AI Platformif you meet all or most of these criteria:
5 years in Software Engineering
Hands-on experience working with public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with AI concepts and hands on experience with AI solutions
Experience with AWS sagemaker, Azure Studio or similar cloud AI capabilities
Proficiency in modern programming languages and in particular Python
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases
Hands on DevOps experience - CI/CD in AWS, Git, Monitoring, Log Analytics
