Full time Staff Pharmacist needed in the Central Upper Peninsula on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our Healthmart pharmacy is an important part of our local community, working closely with our providers to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients. We are a busy Independent Retail pharmacy with a large OTC space; open 7 days a week Monday thru Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sundays 9am -1 pm.
Daily duties would include (but not limited to)
* checking new and refill prescriptions, unit dose packaging and sync med rx's
* Effective communication with patients, doctors, nurses, other pharmacies and co-workers
* Patient counseling when needed
* Maintain organized workflow within the pharmacy with the ability to prioritize workload
* Preparing and sending pharmaceutical order, along with CSOS processing
* Maintain opening and closing procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor of Science degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
* Registered and licensed in the State of Michigan
* Retail/Community Pharmacy experience helpful
* Immunization Certified
