We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our Pontiac team (Oakland County) as a 3rd shift Parking Lot Sweeper.

Position Description:

• Position is 50% Equipment Operation & 50% Labor. In addition to driving a sweeper truck, you’ll need to be getting in and out of the truck to perform other job responsibilities as listed. This role can be very physical at times!
• Removing litter and other debris in parking lots using a sweeper truck and a backpack blower.
• Emptying debris receptacles and moving obstructions in and around parking lots.
• Training will be provided – training time is approximately 4 weeks.
• Must be able to work independently.

Position Requirements:

• Valid Drivers’ License – a chauffer’s license will be needed to operate sweeping equipment.
• A DOT (Department of Transportation) Medical Card is required to work in this role. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to complete and pass a DOT Physical to obtain a medical card (Curbco will help you with this).
• *** Please note that we are not looking for CDL drivers for these openings, only a chauffer’s license is needed.

Additional Position Details & Offerings:

• This is a full-time position, minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime will need to be worked.
• This is a 3rd shift position with core working hours being 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM. With overtime, you could be out working until 8:30 AM (or later) to ensure jobs are completed.
• Work Schedule:  5 days on, 2 days off – this rotating schedule means you will need to work weekends. Work on holidays will also be needed.
• Pay Rate - $18.00/hour to start
• Uniforms supplied after you’ve worked 30 days.
