ICS Data provides IT solutions for small to medium businesses in west Michigan and has done so for over 30 years. We are looking to add an IT technician to our team as our client base grows. This is a great role for learning the ins and outs of the technologies that businesses utilize on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Associates, BA/BS, preferably in computer science or a related field IT support: 2 years (Required)
- Customer service experience (Preferred)
- Troubleshooting experience (Preferred)
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Must be able to lift and move items of up to 50 pounds
Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for handling remote and onsite support of service requests through ConnectWise, our ticketing system.
- End user support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting and support.
- Support of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
