Carpenter Apprentice
Pay: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–4 years of carpentry or construction experience and a strong desire to continue learning the trade. This position is perfect for someone who wants to grow their skills in residential construction and remodeling while working alongside experienced professionals.
Duties:
- Assist in constructing, installing, and repairing wood structures and fixtures.
- Support framing, siding, roofing, and remodeling projects.
- Learn to read and follow blueprints and project specifications.
- Assist with concrete forming, basic masonry, and finishing work as needed.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Complete daily project log entries and checklists using mobile app tools.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and communicate clearly with team members.
- Arrive on time with reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Experience & Skills:
- 1–4 years of carpentry or general construction experience required.
- Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and job site safety.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the trade.
- Ability to follow directions, take feedback, and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
