Position: Extruder Operator – 3rd Shift
Location: Midland, MI

Job Summary:
The Extruder Operator oversees extrusion, pelletizing, and packaging functions to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The operator shall report to the corresponding shift leader and maintain clean and organized work areas.
Responsibilities Include:

Follow all operator procedures.

Set up extrusion run conditions in accordance with the work order.

Operate air knife, pelletizer, screener, and packaging systems.

Handle raw materials, including loading, unloading, and staging.

Record all production data, label materials, and prepare scrap as directed.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must pass a drug test and background check.

Strong attendance and punctuality.

Ability to lift, stand, and bend for extended periods.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Plastic extrusion experience preferred, but not required.
